Clarksville, Arkansas, is located in the Arkansas River Valley along Interstate 40. This community of less than 10,000 people is home to the University of the Ozarks. The recycling drop-off center is under the supervision of Clarksville Parks Director Tom Cogan. To visit the center, take the second or middle Clarksville exit and go past the cemetery to Oak Street. Take a left on Oak Street, and the drop-off will be on your right. You’ll also find the Multipurpose Building on Oakland Street, with the cleanest restrooms on Interstate 40.
